Portrait of a Surfer

Always on the lookout for some odd surfing action. Here, max telephoto and the fastest Lumix shutter speed 1/4000th freezes a surfer as he pulls out of a wave, a reluctant look on his face. I’d lined up the camera ahead of the action, or at least where I thought the action would be, and the result is an unexpected face top of frame, a vertical wall of water beneath.http://www.saatchionline.com/iandsmith
