I fell out with Dr Ben Goldacre last year, the Guardian’s Bad Science columnist. I sent him some stuff on the claims made about Statins, the miracle health cure that (I believe) causes terrible depression. He was rude and dismissive. So I’m not surprised to find this book is free to download Cultural Dwarfs and Junk Journalism by Martin J Walker. I just downloaded it and it looks very interesting. Just follow the news link to the slingshot publications web site and you need Adobe reader.
