As a hopeless non-programmer in techieland, I’m finding this tagging stuff more difficult than anything I’ve done. It doesn’t make sense. But then today I found Ultimate Tag Warrior WordPress Plugin for Dummies, and things started to work. There are a lot of contradictory options in the configuration. For example, I had technorati and delicious options selected, at the same time as having tag cloud selected in the automatic tagging box. And so on. To make things worse the technorati widget sidebar tag cloud disappeared. It came back when I deactivated and reactivated UTW. To get new tags with my existing categories, I select the Yahoo Suggestions and copy them into the CSV field.
