It’s only June 26th, and I just saw the first flock of migrating birds flying over here in Westbury, Wiltshire in a huge V shape . They were flying from east to west. In Reading, where I lived until last year, the first flock of migrating birds would appear around about the Womad weekend, at the end of July. This is a little early, but it fits in with the autumnal feel, and the extraordinary weather in the UK. I was up early this morning, and it was cold.
